Our Mission

IntegrativePracticeTech exists because we believe integrative, functional, and holistic medicine practitioners deserve technology reviews written by people who understand their world. The standard EMR comparison sites evaluate platforms on criteria that matter to conventional seven-minute-visit practices, overlooking the features that make or break the daily workflow of integrative clinicians.

We founded this site after spending too many years struggling with EMR platforms that were never designed for the way we practice. The frustration of trying to document a 90-minute functional medicine intake in a system built for brief encounters, the workarounds required to track supplement protocols in software that does not acknowledge their existence, the disappointment of discovering that "lab integration" means Quest and Labcorp but not the specialty labs that drive our clinical decisions. These experiences convinced us that the integrative medicine community needed its own technology resource.
